Courtside x Nike 2022


A custom shoe designed for Nike’s largest store opening in India during my tenure at Courtside.





A limited-edition sneaker created for the grand opening of Nike at Select City Walk in New Delhi. It blends Delhi’s vibrant spirit with the timeless Air Force 1, reimagining the icon to honour the rise of sneaker culture in India.






Early Iterations

Initial experimentations involved references to architecture and food, with visual styles ranging from geometric minimalism to psychedelic maximalism.















Final Piece


The shoe was developed over a few weeks while working closely with the founder of Courtside, Saigun Grover.
Sarojini Nagar, Delhi Metro and the delectable street food of Delhi are facets I decided to highlight in the final design. This was an intentional move away from typical cliches of tourism, focusing instead on the lived experiences of Delhiites.



The illustration style reflects the youthful hustle culture that is intrinsic to the capital city.
This was a piece I’d developed as I was also discovering my own artistic style. At that moment, both Saigun and I shared a mutual appreciation for Basquiat; his influence is seen clearly in the colour palette.

This project was one of my first big achievements in my career. During the rest of my time at Courtside, I developed more than 30 pairs of bespoke sneaker designs.
